Joel F. Lehrer, M.D.
Dr. Joel F. Lehrer is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and Diplomat
of the American Board of Otolaryngology. Dr. Lehrer holds various positions and
is a member of several organizations. He is a member of the Bergen County Medical
Society, The Medical Society of New Jersey, Fellow of the American Neuro-otology
Society and the American Academy of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. He is
also President of the Holy Name Physicians’ Organization and Vice Present of the
Holy Name Health Alliance. Dr. Lehrer is the founder and Medical Director of the
Eighth Nerve Center for Hearing and Balance and the Tinnitus and Hyperacusis Program.
Dr. Valerie Pinto Kriney, Audiologist
Dr. Kriney completed her Doctor of Audiology degree from the School of Audiology at
the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in January, 2003. She completed her Master of
Arts degree in Audiology from New York University in 1975. Dr. Kriney graduated
from Ithaca College in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Pathology
and Audiology. She was employed by an Otologist for two years. She had been Director
of Audiology at Bergen Pines County Hospital for 19 years. Dr. Kriney is certified
by the American Speech Language Hearing Association and holds licensure in both
Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensing from the State of New Jersey. She is a Fellow
of the American Academy of Audiology, and Board Certified in Audiology from the
American Board of Audiology. She is a member of the Academy of Dispensing Audiologists.
She received 7 Ace Awards for continuing education from the American Speech Language
Hearing Association, and two Scholar Awards from the American Academy of Audiology.
Ayo Ogunlusi, Audiologist
Ms. Ogunlusi graduated from Judson College in Marion, AL in 1986 with a Bachelor of
Arts degree in English and Psychology. She completed her Master of Communication
Disorders degree from Auburn University, Auburn, AL in 1988. Ms. Ogunlusi is a
Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, and is certified by the American
Speech Language and Hearing Association. She also holds Audiology and Hearing
Aid Licensure in both New York and New Jersey.
